They say that two heads are better than one. Then how about having two tails? Sonic & Tails 2 is the second installment of the popular pairing of Sonic and his trusty sidekick, Tails. Tails is a two-tailed fox that is a skilled pilot and can spin his 2 tails like a helicopter! Tails' real name is Miles Power, a fun pun on miles per hour showcasing Sonic’s speed.

Sonic & Tails 2 was released for the Sega Genesis console and featured colorful visuals and action-packed levels. Start the game by choosing between the 2 characters. Want to go for acceleration? Choose Sonic and finish each level collecting rings with your dash and roll move. Choose Tails and get to areas not readily accessible to Sonic. The game's objective is to collect gold rings and use them to get to a special stage. Rings also act as the players' protection when they accidentally hit an enemy; if the player is crushed, falls off, and drowns, they have to start to a recent checkpoint. If all lives are used, the game would be over. The games is a 2D platformer except for a special stage where Sonic can get emeralds. If he gets 50 rings, Sonic enters Super Sonic Mode. Faster, better than regular sonic. Be mindful as Super Sonic uses all the rings collected and will go back to Regular Sonic once all rings are used. Beat Dr. Robotnik in his quest to get the Chaos Emeralds and Power up his space Station, The Death Egg!
