Frequently Asked Questions
My game isn’t loading. Why?
- Most games here run straight in your browser with nothing to install. If one doesn’t load, refresh the page first — a failed load is often a one-off.
- If a refresh doesn’t help, check whether an ad blocker or privacy extension is blocking the game frame. Allowing arcadespot.com usually fixes it, and opening the page in a private window with extensions disabled is a quick way to tell.
- If it still won’t start, leave a comment on the game page and we’ll look into it. Nothing on Arcade Spot needs Flash, Java, Unity Web Player or Shockwave — those plugins were retired years ago and no current browser runs them.
Is Arcade Spot collecting any personal information?
I found a bug in one of the games, what should I do?
- Leave a comment on the game page explaining what the bug is, what you were doing when it happened, and include a screenshot if you can. That’s the quickest way for it to reach us.
Why do some games take forever to load?
- Games vary a lot in size. Some load in a couple of seconds, while larger ones — particularly retro and emulated titles — can take considerably longer. Your connection speed matters too, and the first load of a game is usually the slowest, because nothing has been cached yet.
So I am playing as a guest, will my progress in the game be saved?
- Usually, yes. Arcade Spot has no accounts, so saved progress is stored in your own browser rather than on our servers. That means it stays on the device and browser you played on: clearing your browsing data, playing in a private window, or switching browser or device will lose it. Not every game saves progress at all.
Who can view my comments?
- Comments are public, so anyone can read them. If you would like one removed, contact us.
