Arcade Spot is a free online games site, operated by ArcadeSpot LLC and publishing browser games since 2011. We curate, test and publish thousands of games that run instantly in your browser — no downloads, no installers, no account required, and nothing to pay. This page explains who we are, how the catalog is built, how we make money, and how to reach a human when something is wrong.

What Arcade Spot is

Arcade Spot is a curated library of games you can play in a browser tab. That includes modern HTML5 titles licensed from established game distributors, retro and arcade classics, multiplayer and .io games, free casino and card games, and a large archive of puzzle, racing, sports, strategy and action titles. The site currently publishes more than 5,500 game pages across more than a dozen categories, and we add new titles weekly.

What we are not: we are not the developer of most of what you play here, and we don’t pretend otherwise. The large majority of our catalog is licensed or embedded from the studios and distributors who made it. Where we host something we built ourselves, we say so on the game page. Where a game belongs to someone else, credit stays with them.

Free casino and slot games — play money only

Arcade Spot publishes free-to-play casino games, including roulette, baccarat, poker, blackjack and video slots. These are social casino games in the strictest sense of the term:

• No real money in. Nothing on Arcade Spot can be bought. There are no deposits, no wallets, no in-game purchases and no premium currency for sale. Every chip and every spin is free.
• No real money out. Winnings are play-money credits with no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred, redeemed or exchanged for anything of value, on this site or anywhere else.
• No gambling operator relationship. Arcade Spot is not a casino, is not licensed as a gambling operator, and does not accept wagers.

We publish these games because roulette, poker and slots are enduringly popular as games — the same reason we publish solitaire and chess. But we’re aware that casino mechanics are designed to be compelling, and that simulated gambling behaves differently from a platformer. Our casino category is labelled clearly, it is intended for players aged 18 and over, and every casino game page links to our Responsible Gaming guidance. Who’s behind Arcade Spot

Arcade Spot is owned and operated by ArcadeSpot LLC, registered in the US. The company has published this site continuously since 2011. ArcadeSpot LLC is the accountable publisher for everything here — editorial, licensing, and player data.

Day-to-day editorial is handled by our games editors:

Mason Reed — Games Editor. Mason covers our retro, arcade and emulator catalog: sourcing titles, verifying they run correctly across browsers, and writing the game pages and reviews for those categories.

Tyler Hayes — Games Editor. Tyler covers casino games, including our slots and table-game catalog, and maintains the rating criteria applied to those titles.

Every review and game page on Arcade Spot carries a named byline and a last-updated date, and the editor named is the person who actually played the game.

How we build the catalog

Games reach the site through one of three routes, and each is handled differently:

• Licensed HTML5 titles. Sourced through distribution partners including GameDistribution, GamePix, Famobi,  GameMonetize. These arrive with a licence that permits embedding, and revenue is shared with the original developer.
• Direct developer submissions. Independent developers can submit a game. We check that the submitter holds the rights, that the game runs cleanly in current browsers, and that it contains no malware, forced downloads or deceptive ads.
• Games we host ourselves. A smaller set of titles is served from our own infrastructure so they don’t break when a third party goes offline. We only self-host where we have the rights to do so.

Before a game is published, one of our editors plays it — not a bot, a person. We check that it loads, that controls respond, that it works on desktop and mobile where it claims to, and that it matches the description we’re about to put on the page.

Keeping games playable

Browser games break. Hosts go offline, embeds get revoked, plugins get deprecated. We treat a broken game as a defect, not background noise.

Every game on Arcade Spot is checked automatically weekly against its source, and pages that fail are flagged for review, repaired with a working source, or retired. Players can also report a problem directly from any game page — those reports go into the same queue and are reviewed by an editor. When we can’t fix a title, we say so on the page rather than leaving you clicking a dead frame.

We publish our current catalog health openly: 88% of listed games verified playable as of February 2026.

How we test and rate games

Our ratings come from hands-on play against a fixed set of criteria — gameplay, controls, performance, replay value and presentation — applied the same way to every title, whether or not it earns us anything. Editorial independence and how we make money

Arcade Spot is free to play and funded by advertising and revenue share from the game distributors we license from, and by affiliate commissions on some outbound links. Ads are served through ad network(s). We don’t allow interstitials that block gameplay, forced downloads, ads disguised as play buttons, or real-money gambling advertising anywhere on the site — if you see one, report it and we’ll pull it.

No partner, advertiser or distributor can buy a score, a placement in a “best of” list, or the removal of criticism. Editorial decisions are made by our editors and no one else. The details are in our Editorial Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.

Playing safely

Arcade Spot is built for casual play and a meaningful share of our audience is young. No game on the site requires payment, and none involves real-money wagering of any kind. Our casino and slots category is age-labelled 18+ and separated from the general catalog.

Corrections and contact

If something on this site is wrong — a broken game, a factual error, a mis-credited developer, an ad that shouldn’t be running — we want to hear about it, and we correct it publicly rather than quietly. Substantive corrections are noted at the foot of the page they affect.
