Turok Evolution is a 2D side-scrolling shooter video game for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) handheld system that was released back in 2002. Also written as Turok: Evolution, the game was a re-imagining of the first person horror-themed shooter on Xbox and PS2 of the same name. Although the game features the same plot and elements, the first-person to 2D transition offered a lot of changes to the gameplay. The game also features a password system and has a relatively short story-line and gametime. The game has various of levels and offers the traditional Turok weapon overkill that became the game’s trademark.
