Mario Golf is a 1999 sports and golf simulation video game released for the Nintendo 64 (N64) gaming console and Game Boy Color. The game features dozens of Mario-themed courses, and a few new characters that are unique to the Mario Golf series, namely; Plum, Sonny, Harry, Maple, and Charlie. Gameplay-wise, Mario Golf features a simplified golf simulation that is fun to play, easy to pick up, and easy to learn. Despite its simplified approach to golf, the game has a deep mechanic behind every shot that includes wind strength and direction, individual attributes, and so much more.
