Light Crusader

Become Sir David and rescue the missing people of Green Row in Light Crusader! Explore an isometric dungeon, solve puzzles, cast elemental magic, and defeat the evil wizard who wants to awaken a sealed demon!

Light Crusader is an action-adventure game developed by Treasure and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive in 1995. You play as the knight Sir David, who arrives in Green Row after the king asks him to find townsfolk who have disappeared. A hidden stairway in the graveyard leads into a multi-level dungeon where enemies, shops, and puzzles await.

Your goal is to descend through the dungeon, free every kidnapped villager, and stop the wizard Ragno Roke before he sacrifices them to revive the demon Ramiah. Fight with your sword, jump and lunge, and mix four elemental magics – alone or combined – for attacks and buffs. Buy gear in town, fill out your map as you explore, and watch your health against tough bosses on each floor.

Talk to the people of Green Row for clues, experiment with magic combinations such as using water to heal, and clear every floor before the final battle. Light Crusader runs right in your desktop browser through the Sega Genesis emulator, so you can enjoy this Treasure classic without any download. Good luck and have fun!
