Beauty and the Beast is a kid-friendly action platformer video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), based on the 1991 animated Dinsey film of the same name. Released back on 1994, the game tries to capture the look and feel of the movie, and has successfully exhibited some of the best Disney/Nintendo art of its time. The game’s final boss is the hunter Gaston, who will try to steal Belle from the Beast. Aside from the magic of the wonderful film, the game’s gameplay is criticized as mediocre and best.
