688 Attack Sub is a classic submarine simulator game for the Sega Genesis Drive. Released back in 1991, the game features two warring sides: U.S. and SOVIET. In this game, the player must choose between the US Los Angeles-class or Soviet Alfa class nuclear-powered submarines. Each team has their own unique features as well as specific powers. The game features a total of 10 missions that ranges from Cold War scenarios to epic and global conflict. Some missions are actually based on real-life scenarios while most are fictional.
