1943 – The Battle of Midway is a classic aerial shooter / bullet hell game released back in 1987 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The game is a sequel to 1942 arcade game. The game is set on World War II in the Pacific theater off the coast of the Midway Atoll. 1943 – The Battle of Midway features 16 stages, plenty of new power ups and upgrade-able stats. Like your usual classic shoot-em up game, this game features massive boss battles like large ships and submarines. Have fun.
