Palkovil: The Way Home is a holiday-themed adventure game where you get to explore the Palkovil Alien Laboratory. In this game, everyone is celebrating Christmas and looking forward to the New Year when a group of alien took the biggest and grandest Christmas tree in the city and brought it to their alien laboratory. Enraged, you decided to follow the aliens and demand the tree back from the aliens or force their cooperation. The game has many rooms and many aliens to encounter. Only by helping or defeating these aliens will they agree to give the three back. Move around the laboratory and fulfill different tasks while collecting unique souvenirs that you can bring back to your friends.

The game features many mini-games in the form of a "Fight". These mini-games include mini-battles, rock-paper-scissors, and little puzzles. Collect the toys around the lab and uncover their secrets. Feed the pets and defeat the bosses to bring the tree back and save the New Year's celebration for everyone in town.
