Crash: Mind Over Mutant is a beat ‘em up arcade-style game that lets you control Crash. The game's objective is to Uncover the secret of Doctor Neo Cortex and Doctor Nitrus Brio that seems to make everyone act strangely. The NV, the device that Dr. Cortex and Brio created, acts as a parody on the arrival of popular handheld devices made by two fruit giants at that time and how they control people. Released in 2008 in the US, Crash: Mind Over Mutant gives you five action-packed levels! Perform light and heavy combos to reduce your enemies to dust. Destroy crates with question marks and get power-ups. Three modes are available for the game, Adventure, Minigames, and Mutant fight. Minigames include you picking up fruit, kicking soccer balls, and sliding across platforms whilst avoiding bombs. Mutant fights pit you against other enemies scattered throughout different levels. Adventure puts you in the middle of the action as you fight mutants on different levels. If you die, no need to worry about lives as Crash will respawn at the beginning of the level. The story in Adventure is divided by cutscenes drawn from famous 2D animation styles ranging from Anime to Popular cartoon shows.
