Karate Champ is an arcade fighting game ported to Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in North America on 1986. In this game, you will play the role of a karate fighter and compete against the other karate fighters. The game simulates a real-life karate tournament where the first fighter to score two points wins. When a player hits an opponent, it gives the player half point or one point. Every time you win, the next round will be more challenging. Background changes every new round. In the background of the fight, a judge will announce if a strike lands and if a player earns a point.
