Based on the classic 1979 game Asteroid and the Ms-DOS Astro, AsteroidEX is a space shooter that features three different weapons; Laser, Machinegun, and Plasma. Each weapon has its unique properties.

• Laser is a high-range and high precision weapon with a moderate fire rate. A classic beginner-friendly weapon.
• Machinegun is a low-range, low damage weapon, but it makes up for it with its fast fire rate that can obliterate enemies faster than any other weapon.
• Plasma is a medium-range weapon that shoots three projectiles at a time. It has a low fire rate, but it has a unique ability to push away giant asteroids with its force.

Enemy ships and battle droids will spawn inside the wormhole portals. A portal will generate on every wave, and the number of portals increases after every wave. Use the asteroids as cover to avoid enemy fire or lead your enemies to crash on them. Destroying asteroids, blowing up enemies, and clearing waves will give you points. How many points can you earn at the end of the day? Out-skill your friends and get bragging rights by having the highest score.
