Warfront is a competitive first-person shooter game inspired by giant FPS titles like CounterStrike, Standoff, and Valorant. Before starting the game, you are placed in the lobby where you can adjust many things about your character including the name, the weapon loadout, and the game's settings. The lobby also displays your character's level and progression. When starting a level, the player can choose a team between Recon and Delta. While there is no bad or good team, each team will spawn at specific places.

The game features maps that are heavily inspired by the classic CounterStrike v1.6 - making them familiar to veteran players. Not only that, the game features the familiar FPS controls where WASD moves your character and the mouse is used to aim and shoot. However, unlike CS1.6, you can't purchase weapons mid-game, and instead, all preparations are done in the lobby.
