SWAT & Plants vs Zombies is an engaging lane defense strategy game where the player can deploy SWAT soldiers and plant mutant plants to repel the zombies. The game shares the gameplay of the popular Plants Vs Zombies (PVZ) game but features new sets of plants and units to deploy, as well as zombies to face. The game features many levels divided into three different areas - each with its own theme.

In this game, there are two types of credits: cups, and gems. Cups are used to upgrade the SWAT units while the gems can be used to enhance the abilities of the plants. As you progress with the game, more units and plants will become available, and you will also face more zombie variations. The goal of the game is to completely eradicate all the zombies in the level while trying to minimize the losses in the battle and maximize the after-battle reward. Will you be able to lead the combined forces of trained soldiers and mutant plants to rid the zombies off the land?
