Politon is a beautiful multiplayer turn-based, hex-based strategy game with easy-to-understand mechanics. The game can be played with 2 to 4 players, taking turns in a hot-seat setting. In this game, the player will take control of one kingdom and must manage the kingdom's economy to expand the territory and recruit units to defend the region. Each turn, you will generate income according to the number of tiles you control Create structures in order to generate more income or defend the territory more effectively. Farms are used to increase the income generated per turn, while watchtowers and outposts can help strengthen the lands' defenses but require an upkeep every turn.

Creating a structure will increase the price of the same structure that will be built next. Recruit peasants, militias, barons, and knights to attack enemy territories and conquer their land. The goal of the game is to defeat all opposing kingdoms and rule the land under one banner.

The difficulty/ enemy AI can be adjusted to Beginner, Casual, or Advanced. The game features a variety of hex-based maps with varying terrain features and biomes.
