Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX is an extreme sports video game that was heavily inspired and made with the same spirit as the Tony Hawk pro skater series. Released back in 2001 for multiple gaming consoles including Game Boy Color (GBC), the game is the first sports game to launch under Activision’s short-lived Activision O2 label. In this game, you can play as one of the eight professional BMX riders, including the titular Mat Hoffman. Among the professional BMX riders are Rick Thorne, and Mike Escamilla, with Tony Hawk as a secret hidden character that you must unlock.
