Escape Room Mystery Key is a side-scrolling room escape adventure game with puzzle and horror elements. Choose a role/ avatar from the eight interesting characters and pick a place to challenge. The game features two creepy places: An abandoned school, and a haunted hospital. The two share a similar story where urgent news was reported that several people went missing in these two places and that going into them is no longer allowed. Depending on the role you choose, you will be left alone in these two places with the door outside locked. The goal of the game is to find the correct key to open the door that will lead outside, and escape with your life intact. 

As you roam around the areas, a terrifying and ghostly killer will try to kill you. You can try to run or find a place to hide to let the murderer pass through. Uncover hidden clues in different areas and learn the creepy story and the history of these two places. If you are lost on what to do, click on the "tips" located in the upper right corner of the screen.
