Dark Return is a game about promises and the various changes in perspective regarding life and desires. The game revolves around Levi a brave warrior and magician who finds himself under the control of the forces of light. Levi recently lost his beloved wife. Torn by the loss, Levi is willing to do anything to bring her back. The forces of Light promised to resurrect her if Levi could defeat the forces of evil that threatened the world, but things may not be what they seem.

This platformer game is filled with puzzles and many challenging levels that will test your skills, strategy, and patience. Navigate through various levels and face different enemies. Use all your combat skills to overcome various obstacles and enemies.

The game was originally created for the "Marcos Game Dev Jam 4", Dark Return features a compelling story, simple control, and challenging gameplay. Playtime is not long and the entire game can be finished in less than thirty minutes. However, the levels are reasonably challenging, so failing and restarting the level a lot is to be expected.
