Asterix and the Great Rescue is a cartoonish platformer video game based on the popular French comic series called “Asterix”. The game is released back in 1993 for the Sega Mega Drive and Genesis gaming consoles. In this game, the Romans have captured two of the protagonists’ friends, as they were attempting to take over Gaul. Now our heroes must go forth and rescue their friends and go on a series of adventures. The game also features dozens of tough platforming puzzles that makes the game worth playing.
