Tiles of the Unexpected is a classic matching game with gameplay similar to the traditional Mahjong but with several layers on top of each other. This game was originally released back in June 2008 using Flash technology. In April 2017, the game was updated with an HTML5 engine - making it run smoother and even compatible with mobile devices.

In this game, you must match two or more identical pictures adjacent to each other regardless of their arrangement by simply clicking on them. The tiles you matched will be removed from the board, and the rest of the tiles will fall (as if affected by gravity). You can also match tiles on a different layer, as long as they are adjacent to each other. If you can trigger a chain reaction and earn some combo points, a bomb icon will fill up on the left side of the screen. Once the bomb icon is on the top, you can blow up the tiles quickly to earn more points and progress with the game.
